Cabbage Rolls


INGREDIENTS:
1 large cabbage
2-3 lbs of hamburger ( a big pack)
1 cup of instant rice uncooked
1 large can of spaghetti sauce
teaspoon of each:
•salt
•pepper
•garlic salt
•oregano ( I love this stuff and add it to almost everything)
can of tomato juice
small can of tomato paste

DIRECTIONS
mix hamburger, rice,1/2 can of spaghetti sauce, and spices together (can add diced onion if you want also). use about 1/4 cup size ( if you want bigger go for it you be the judge) in each cabbage leaf and start rolling from core side first and fold in the sides as you go. place in big baking dish ( I used roaster) seams sides down. I had 2 layers. take out 1 glass of the tomato juice and to the other add the rest of the spagh sauce and tomato paste and pour over the top. cover bake for an hour at 350&mord;

NOTES
cut core out of cabbage and let the cabbage sit in cold water to loosen up the leaves 10 mins. steam the leaves for a couple of mins to make them pliable
