Ingredients: Box orange jell-o (regular or sugar free) Directions: 1) Drain juice from mandarin oranges and combine with water to equal measure of boiling water to prepare jello 2) Dissolve jello in boiling water/juice and stir for 2 minutes 3) Use vanilla ice cream in place of second measure of water for jello. Stir ice cream into jello and stir until completely dissolved. 4) Add mandarin orange segments 5) Pour into mold, bowl or individual serving containers. Top with mini marshmallows if desired 6) Refrigerate several hours until firm. Notes: This is a family recipe my mother made all the time. If she served it on a bed of lettuce it was a salad. If served without lettuce it was desert. It's just plain good no matter how or when it's served. Enjoy! |
